We kick off 2026 with the Acclamator-Class Assault Ship, set #75404

The Acclamator-Class Assault ship was a Republic cruiser mostly used for ferrying Clone Troopers across the galaxy, making their first big appearance at the Battle of Geonosis.

Build Experience

The build was very straight forward, with clearly and easy to follow instructions. I generally use the book instructions when I build sets, but I would not be doing my job if I did not also check the digital instructions, which were readily available for download and matched the physical instructions.

I award the build experience a 5/5 - no stickers is always a win, and straight forward instructions combined with a lower piece count make for an enjoyable, and relatively quick, build experience.

Price to Build

This set contains 450 pieces and has an MSRP of $49.99. At this price, the price-per-piece works out to about 11.1 cents per piece which feels like a nice price point to me for what you are getting. This is one of the few LEGO sets that I have found to not be priced too outrageously.

I award this portion a 4/5. While it's a pretty nice price point overall, to me the average price per piece needs to trend slightly lower to hit a perfect score.

WOW! Factor

Arguable the most opinionated portion of these reviews. The WOW! Factor is always going to trend higher for sets that fall within things I really enjoy, such as Star Wars or Jurassic Park. With that note, I will do my best to be somewhat impartial to this, and judge more off how it looks on the shelf than my feelings towards a particular series.

The set looks quite good on the shelf, though it does trend a bit on the "slightly out of place" side compared to other Star Wars mid-size ship sets.

With all of that said, it's still not a perfect score. A 5 has to truly wow me with how it looks, being a set that draws my eyes instantly every single time and one that truly stands out among other sets.

I award this a 4/5 score in this category.

Final Thoughts

In the end, I am happy with this set and if you are a Star Wars fan who is looking to expand the collection of ships without entirely breaking the bank or if you just are a fan of the prequel saga of films (or the animated Clone Wars series), then you cannot go wrong with this set. I've seen it on sale on more than one occasion at local stores and at bigger chains (such as Walmart).

That leaves this set with a 13/15 score - not bad, and a good set to kick off the reviews.

Looking Forward

I am leaving this here, as it's the first written review (and the first real review I am doing). Most reviews will be done in this manner - quick, to the point. I don't feel there is a need to drag out reviews for thousands of words, or 20, 30 or 50 minute videos. My goal is to review all the sets I build using the same three criteria that I just used above. With that said, larger sets will generally have more in depth reviews for each category than I had here. This is a small set, and for that reason I felt the written review worked the best.

Most reviews will either be written or short form (YouTube Shorts and TikTok), or might even be both. The larger sets will generally get longer videos along with a written review.

The goal is to put out a review every Friday in 2026 and beyond, reviewing both old and new sets across LEGO, MEGA BLOKs and any other brick-style building toy that looks interesting to me.
