- Patreon account information (to link your Patreon account and determine your support tier)
- Comments (blog interaction)
- Access logs (request IDs, IP/timestamps for 30 days, security only)
How We Use Your Information
- To provide access to site features and content based on your support tier
- To communicate with you about your account or important updates
- To verify your Patreon support status and manage your benefits
- To process data requests and deletions
- For security and audits (logs)
Processors
- Patreon and our email provider handle parts of your data under agreements. We do not sell or share your personal information except as needed for services or as required by law.
What We Do Not Collect
- We do not collect or store your payment information. All payments are handled securely by Patreon.
- No addresses, full names beyond display name, or persistent IPs are stored.
Data Requests & Deletion
- Request export, deletion, or unlink Patreon directly from your profile page—fully self-service.
- Export: Queued and delivered securely (PIN/link) within 1 month. Export logs are kept for 7 days after delivery.
- Deletion: Email and display name are anonymized (e.g., deleted-[hash]@domain.com, BrickBuilder-xxxxx); comments are detached and pseudonymized for site context. This process is irreversible.
Data Retention
Email and Patreon data are retained while your account is active or as needed for services, and for 30 days after deletion. Comments are pseudonymized after deletion. Export logs are kept for 7 days after delivery. Access logs are kept for 30 days for security and audit purposes.
Your Rights
- Self-service export, deletion, rectification, portability, restriction, and objection are available via your profile. No automated decisions are made. EU users have full GDPR rights.
